Vodafone idea has now discontinued its double data offer in 8 regions 


      Vodafone has recently introduced double data benefits offers in some regions in the past month but now it has withdrawn the plan. As per reports, Vodafone has discontinued its double data offer in eight regions, and in only 14 regions this double data offer is working. This double data Vodafone idea plan will be beneficial during the lockdown period as there is a huge increase in the consumption of data in recent times.

    Vodafone double data is was offered to the existing plans of Rs599, Rs.399, and Rs.299 in the month of February to all the regions in India. This offer included an additional 1.5GB per day with existing 1.5Gb, so per day, it was 3GB that Vodafone offered to its customers on the recharge. However, this offer is no longer available in the Andhra Pradesh region, Bihar, Gujarat region, Kerala, Maharashtra and Goa, The North-East regions, Punjab, and UP West. In the remaining regions, it is available in the remaining 22 regions.

    It's been a piece of disappointing news as for the 8 regions, as earlier they were used to enjoy 3GB with no extra cost, as they used to get only 1.5GB. the Rs 249 plan offers 1.5GB per day and has a validity of 28 days. It also comes with unlimited calling and 100SMSes per day. The Rs. 599 plan is valid for 84 days and the Rs. 399 plan offers the same benefits but has a validity of 56 days and. These three double data plans are no longer available on the official website itself, If you are from the other 22 regions, get yourself recharged asap. You can easily save money using budgeting apps.

   The one good thing about this is they have increased the validity for the prepaid customers till    May 3 so as to help the low-income customers, The decision was taken in line with TRAI’s order to extend the validity of prepaid plans. The other telecom players like Bharathi-Airtel, Reliance have also extended the validity of their prepaid customers until May 3. As the lockdown was extended from April 17.

“In order to ensure that consumers stay connected during this extended lockdown, we are extending the incoming service validity of 90 mn consumers till May 3rd. This would effectively mean that these consumers can use their phones for receiving incoming calls unhindered,” Avneesh Khosla, Marketing Director, Vodafone Idea had said in a statement.
