Many of the students are unable to buy a laptop due to lack of finance.  So, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to distribute free laptops among the students. Andhra Pradesh Free Laptop Scheme

AP Free Laptop Scheme has been announced by the state government to encourage the students for further studies. Under this scheme, beneficiaries will get a free laptop. This scheme is especially for visually challenged students. Those appellants who are studying in professional courses can apply for this scheme. Those who want to grab the benefits have to seek application for the scheme via online or offline mode. The Department of Welfare of Differently Abled & Senior Citizens, Assistant Directors, and District Managers is going to manage this scheme.

Documents required

• Sadarem certificate
• Passport Size Photograph
• Parents Income Certificate
• Mobile Number
• Bonafide Certificate from the College/School
• Aadhaar Card

Eligibility 

• Students whose parent’s income is less than Rs.15000 per month will get Laptop for free
• Students whose parent’s income is between Rs.15000 to Rs.20000 per month have to pay half the amount of the laptop
• Students whose parent’s income is more than Rs. 20000 per month have to pay the full cost.
• Students must study in the professional courses 
• Applicant must be a permanent resident of AP state

Procedure to Apply For AP Free Laptop Scheme 

Offline

• Go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh differently-abled and Senior Citizen Assistance Corporation.
• From home page go to the “schemes & forms” section
• Click view all option and a new page will appear on the screen
• Search “Sanction of Laptops” option and hit “read more option
• Click “download application” option and take a print out of it
• Fill the details ion the form and attach the necessary documents
• Submit the form along with documents to the department

Online

• Go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh differently-abled and Senior Citizen Assistance Corporation.
• On the home page click “online application” option from mid of the page
• Click “click here to apply for the differently-abled scheme”
• Search “Application for Sanction of Laptops” option
• Click on the “Apply online” option and a new page will appear
• If you are not registered click “no” option
• The form will appear on the screen
• Enter the following details, Name as in Aadhaar card, Aadhar card number, Mobile Number, Email id, Create a password, Retype the password
• Select the register option
• If you are already registered with site then login with id and password
• Click apply online option and application form will display
• Fill the application form and upload the necessary documents
• Submit the application form after reviewing the form

• Students have to be very careful while providing the details
• Legal action will be taken if any information found to be wrong 
• Students can avail the benefits once in the lifetime
