Vodafone Idea Gifts 2GB Daily Data and Unlimited Calling for Limited Users

Several Vodafone Idea users have reported on Twitter that they have received 2GB per day high-speed data and unlimited calling activated on their numbers at no additional costs. The company has made no official announcement or provided additional details on the pack, however, the users have reported that the free pack is valid for seven days. Vodafone Idea’s free pack is closely on the heels of Reliance Jio offering its users 2GB per day free data with a four-day validity. Vodafone Idea Offers Double Data in Selected Circles

It has to be noted that Vodafone has also been offering double data on its plans in selected circles. While the company initially provided the double data offer to the majority of its circles, it currently provides the offer to users in nine circles.  Jagan Anna vidhya Deevana

Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Kolkata, West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Rajasthan, and Jammu and Kashmir are among the circles eligible for the double data offer.

The double data offer is currently valid on the Rs 299, Rs 399, Rs 449, Rs 599 and Rs 699 plans. The Rs 299 plan offers users 2 GB of base data per day with the company providing 2GB of additional data with the plan valid for 28 days. The users can also make unlimited calls and send 100 SMS per day along with 4GB per day of high-speed data. Additionally, the company also offers Vodafone Play and Zee 5 subscriptions to users. The Rs 449 and Rs 699 plans offer similar benefits as the Rs 299 plan but with a validity of 56 days and 84 days respectively. "Stree swabhiman yojana"

Reliance Jio plans to launch Jiomeet app for Conferencing to counter GoogleMeet and Zoom

Reliance Jio posted its quarterly report on 30 April. In the financial report, the company also mentioned that they are going to launch a new platform for video calling and it will be called JioMeet. The service has been available to select smartphone users but it hasn't been rolled out widely. Free Disney+ Hotstar subscription

The company made the announcement of the new nationwide video platform on 30 April. The launch of the new app will come at a time when there’s a high demand for a reliable video conferencing platform.

The company also has an app called JioChat that enabled video and audio chat but the company is yet to declare if both JioMeet and JioChat will be available simultaneously. Kanya sumangala yojana

The new JioMeet will increase the list of Jio applications that are currently provided by the company. It might also be integrated with other applications offered by the network carrier.

The new service will be available across various platforms and operating systems. According to HT, the app will be available on both Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. The app will also be available for Windows, Mac. The company will even provide a plugin for Outlook which can be downloaded from the Mac App Store and Microsoft’s Windows Marketplace. The platform will also be available via browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

The frequently asked questions (FAQ) page on the JioMeet website claims the app can allow group calling for up to 100 participants. One of the primary contenders in this segment, Zoom also allows 100 participants in a call for a period of 40 minutes for the free version. Bsnl Free Work from home plan

The service will be rivaling other prominent names like Google’s Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other video conferencing applications. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeITY) has also launched an innovative campaign in the country for a video conferencing solution. The ministry is will be paying ₹1 crore to the team that wins the competition.
